Product Description
The SS880E-4 web press is a B-B type 4+4 book press with a cutting size of 630mm. The machine adopts a modular design concept and the press consists of a zero-speed splicer, four printing units, and a folder and other equipment. It can be used for used for a variety of different production alternatives: book printing, newspaper printing, semi-commercial and commercial work. Everything from manuals, glossy catalogue, magazines and newspapers are printed in SS880E-4.
SS880E-4 features:
- Module design of printing unit, compact structure, reasonable layout and easy operation.
- Roller contact printing method is to reduce the influence of gear and bearing clearance and plate vibration on printing quality.
- The roller bearing is supported by high-precision tapered roller bearing with pre-tightening force to make sure running smoothly and pressure stable.
- The printing cylinder's surface is treated to prevent rust, corrosion and abrasion.
- The narrow gaps of plate cylinder clips to the plate tightly and quickly. There is also the worm gear device on the rubble cylinder.
- Standard Solna piano-type ink fountains have an intuitive ink supply that allow for quick adjustments.
- The continuous ink transfer by anilox roller is best for high speed printing.
- The continuous water supply system by the brush roller device is to prevent ink back ups.
- The printing register is adjusted from the console for easy operation and registers fast.
- The water and ink roller impression on/off are pneumatically controlled.
- The operating surface of the printing unit is designed with double-layer shields for easy maintenance.
- Imported components are used in electrical control systems and pneumatic systems.
- The diameter ratio of folder is 1:2:2:2, best for easy adjustments and stable printing quality.
- The folder is equipped with a horizontal and vertical punching device, which can count and adjust the paper.
- There are no shaft connections between the zero-speed splicer and the printing unit.
