result is the Solna D388 with a new independent drive system and plate cylinders with narrow gaps, all these features have been combined to offer superior print quality and productivity.
The Solna D388 is equipped with one AC motor for ench unit,
eliminating the limitations of a conventional shaft driven press. Printing flexibility has been increased as high as the units can be operated independently. There are no mechanical drive
connections between units using eighter belts or shafts.
Circumferential and side-lay register of the plate cylinders is adjusted from the main console, resulting in faster start-up and less waste. The printing units can be
equipped with motorized or digital ink controls provided by a
variety of suppliers.
Designed to combine high printing speeds with superior print quality. This capability demands that all rotating parts are dynamically balanced with particular care.The narrow gaps of the cylinders offer a longer printing length and also minimize
abrasion.
SolnaD388 can be installed in your existing
printing press in the position of your choice either as a
replacement or as an extension without considering your present press drive. Towers may be arranged so that your existing press is not affected therefore no production time is lost while the new solna D388 equipment is being installed.
the maximum speed of D388 is 40,000sph and can be combined with D300 and D600 to form a complete press line printing 4+2 or 4+4 color pages.

Plate cylinder driven by an individual motor. Circumferential and lateral movement of both plate cylinders can be adjusted independently from the main control desk.
