results is the Solna D388 with a new independent drive system and plate cylinders with narrow gaps, all these features were combined to offer superior print quality and productivity.
Solna D388 is equipped with one AC motor for ench unit,
eliminating the limitations of a conventional shaft driven pressess. Printing flexibility has been increased as high as the units can be operated independently. There are no mechanical drive
connections between units using either belts or shafts.
Circumferential and side-lay register of the plate cylinders is adjusted from the main console, resulting in faster start-up time and less waste. The printing units can be
equipped with motorized or digital ink controls provided by a
variety of suppliers.
Designed to combine high printing speeds with superior print quality. This demands that all rotating parts are dynamically balanced with particular care.The narrow gaps of the cylinders offer a longer printing length and also minimizes
abrasion and vibration.
The SolnaD388 can be installed in your existing
printing press in the position of your choosing either as a
replacement or as an extension without considering your present press drive. Towers may be added onto your pre-existing press so that no production time is lost while the new solna D388 is being installed.
Maximum speed of D388 is 40,000sph, and can be combined with D300 and D600 to form a complete press line printing 4+2 or 4+4 color pages.
