The results is The Solna D388 with a new independent drive system, plate cylinders with narrow gaps, all these features have been combined to offer superior print quality and productivity.
The Solna D388 is equipped with one AC motor for ench unit, eliminating the limitations of a conventional shaft driven press. Printing flexibility as high as the units can be operated independently. There are no mechanical drive connections between units using either belts or shafts.
Circumferential and side-lay register of the plate cylinders is adjusted from the main console, resulting in faster start-up and less waste. The printing units can be equipped with motorized or digital ink controls provided by a variety of suppliers.
Designed to combine high printing speeds with superior print quality, this capability demands that all rotating parts are dynamically balanced with particular care. The narrow gaps of the cylinders offer a longer printing length and minimize abrasion.
The SolnaD388 can be installed in your existing printing press in the position of your choice either as a replacement or as an extension without considering your present press drive. Towers may be arrangement of your existing press is not affected therefore no production time is lost while the new Solna D388 equipment is being installed.
Maximum speed of D388 is 40,000sph, and can be combined with D300 and D600 to form a complete press line printing 4+2 or 4+4 color pages.

2.Frame
Machine frames are made out of first class super strong steel, box frame type. This rigid support ensures printing press stability during full speed production.
3.Ink fountain
Solna designed ink fountains ensure consistent ink supply.
4.Oscillating rollers
The oscillating rollers are embedded in self-lubricating rings and are driven by famous Swedish made Swedrives.
5.Ink fountain rollers
Ensures an even ink flow that  varies with press speeds accordingly.
6.Water fountain roller
Steel chromium-plated surface ensures an even and stable supply of water.
7.Ink feed roller
Transfers a small amount of evenly grooved surface ensure a proper and even ink transfer.
8.Plate lock up
Quick plate lock up device with a narrow gap of 1.5mm, other type of plate lock up available on request.
9.Blanket lock up device
Plate cylinder driven by individual motor. Circumferential and lateral movement of both plate cylinders can be adjusted independently from the main control desk.

10.Covers
Modern design with 3-layer doors, easy to open making maintenance convenient.
11.Automatic lubrication system
Automatic grease lubrication system keeps non-stop supply of oil during production, operation side is grease-lubricated.
12.Totally new design DPC4 control console
Design to suit different body heights, more flexible and easier to operate.
