Product Description

The Solna D390 has been designed and developed with the help of the latest interactive computer simulation technology.
The result is the Solna 390 with a new independent drive system and plate cylinders with narrow 4.4mm gaps, all plate cylinders have a side-lay and circumferential registers. All these features have been combined to offer superior print quality and productivity.
The Solna390 is equipped with one AC motor for each unit, eliminating the limitations of a conventional shaft driven press. The printing flexibility has been increased as high as the units can be operated independently, there are no mechanical drive connections between units using either belts or shafts.
Circumferential and side-lay register of the plate cylinders is adjusted from the main console, resulting in faster start-up time and less waste.The printing units can be equipped with motorized or digital ink controls provided by a variety of suppliers.
The Solna 390 is designed to combine high printing speeds with superior print quality. This capability demands  that all rotating parts are dynamically balanced with particular care. The narrow gaps of the cylinders offer a longer printing length while also minimizing vibration and abrasion.


The Solna390 can be installed in addition to your existing press in the position of your choice either as a replacement or as an extension considering your present press drive.Towers may be arranged either in-line or at right angles to your pressline. The drive arrangement of your existing press is not affected, therefore no production time is lost while the new solna 390 equipment is being installed.

     4. THREE RING BEARING FOR BLANKET CYLINDER Using international standard three ring bearings enables a steady running of machine guarantees and good printing quality in the long run.

Circumferential and lateral movement of both plate cylinders can be adjusted independently from the main control desk.

MULTIRANGE
The Solna Multirange system adjustable impression between blanket cylinders ensures the best print quality and dot gain.

The shaftless drive design contributes to increased flexibility and maintains high print quality. The absence of shafts also eliminates costly and time consuming shaft replacements. By turning the multirange dial you simply adjust the impression to achieve the correct dot transfer.  Adjustments can be performed during the run of the press.
